When can you meet?

Hello everyone, I apologize if I didn't get back to you, I was lying in
bed with a flu for the past 3 days. But now I'm better and ready to get
things rolling. I like the alternating meeting spots, make things
easier and more dynamic. The only problem is where to have the
meetings. I like Chuck's idea to have it in his office with
connectivity. I have an old 12 port Cisco rack mount switch lying
around that we can use. Its only 10mbps but it'll do for now, assuming
no one comes to these meetings to download large files. Now as far as
the different LUGs are concerned. I think we should somehow share the
mailing list and/or share the webpage info. I was thinking of setting
up some sort of forum as another avenue for topic discussion. I don't
want the forum to replace the mailing list, instead I want it to act as
another way to ask for information. In fact, we can tie in the
majordomo list to the forum, so when someone sends an email to the list,
a new topic is started on the forum (but I'm getting ahead of myself).
Anyway, I think having two LUGs working as one would be great for Linux
as well as great for our community. Either case, I have purchased
montcolug.org domainname and I'm looking forward to working with
bclug.org. Liz, remind me to give you username and password to my
server for the webpage. Also if anyone else wants to help with the
design and graphics of the page, please let Liz or me know and I'll give
you an account as well.
