My setup is a bit complicated (and I have a business fios line) so my
setup is not really applicable, but yes - if you have a router you'll
need to forward port 22 traffic to the machine you want to ssh into.
If you're using the router they gave you there should be an interface
you can access to easily handle port forwarding.
